“I highly recommend PSIA’s Master in Environmental Policy and the CARE Program to any prospective Canadian students seeking a graduate program with a comprehensive approach to environmental policy challenges delivered in a diverse international setting. My advice to future students is to explore lectures, concentrations, and courses at Sciences Po that are unfamiliar because that’s how well-rounded environmental policymakers are made.”

“Words cannot express how grateful I am for the CARE Program and the DRG Foundation. The work of the Foundation and the Program is truly incredible and deeply important – in the face of climate change, global cooperation is critical, especially between countries such as France and Canada that have taken innovative and admirable measures towards combating it. I think there is a lot of potential for joint learning and progress through this program, and I am excited to see all of the great work that will be done in the years to come.”

Sciences Po’s Master in Environmental Policy caught my attention due to its multidisciplinary and practical approach to addressing global environmental and sustainable development challenges. Having completed an undergraduate degree with a focus in the natural sciences and ecological fieldwork, I was excited to discover a programme that offers a holistic perspective on environmental challenges, including the social, political, legal, and economic aspects. The programme also provides an unparalleled international learning opportunity, encouraging the exchange of knowledge from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. This cultivates values of partnership and collaboration while enhancing our understanding of one another.

“My experience at Sciences Po has been incredibly enriching. I appreciate the interdisciplinary structure of the programme as it allows me to take a variety of courses which offer different perspectives on climate issues. The faculty is exceptional – our teachers are highly intelligent and also draw upon a wealth of real-world experiences from different countries.

Perhaps, the most exciting aspect of my experience has been the diversity of the student body. My classmates come from all over the world, each bringing their own unique insights and experiences to one classroom.”

“It’s been incredibly enriching and welcoming. My professors at Sciences Po are very knowledgeable and helpful. My classmates are also so passionate about environmental sustainability and we are constantly teaching each other about new topics and phenomena. Although I’ve only been a Sciences Po student for a month, everyone on campus has been supportive of my goals and I feel set up for success as a student here. Overall, I would say my favourite part of Sciences Po so far is the environment of constantly learning among other peers who are also working towards a better future. The atmosphere on campus is very collaborative and supportive. “
